RETURNS
It is important to us that you are happy with your purchase. To achieve this we must provide you with a product which is in top condition and is what you expect from our description.
All items are inspected for obvious faults/damage before dispatch. If you should find fault with the product you should advise us immediately. Purchases may be returned for a full refund if the item(s) are faulty or in a damaged condition when received. All returns shall be packaged in original packaging and be unworn, in original condition. No freight costs will be reimbursed unless the supply is our fault. Any refund will be made to the original credit card to which the order was charged or by cheque to the customer.
Curtis Jewellers stands behind all its products as original, authentic pieces of jewellery. All items we sell are true to their description, we do not sell any fake or counterfeit jewellery.
SECURITY AND PAYMENTS
As we always need to be careful with financial matters one of the latest technology methods has been used on this site where your credit card details are encrypted using 128 bit SSL. Essentially this means your credit card details are unreadable as they pass from your computer to our processors. We then decrypt your message at our end.
For those of you who do not have a credit card or prefer other payment methods, we have given you a postal/fax ordering method. When we receive your request we will email or fax you our bank details with an invoice so you can arrange the relevant deposit.

SHIPPING AND INSURANCE
Within New Zealand we will provide FREE delivery, you will incur no freight charges. Any International orders placed over $800.00 will also be eligible for FREE delivery, as we will waive any shipping/freight fees. Should your International order be less than $800, there will be a freight fee incurred. This amount will be charged to your credit card and confirmed in the confirmation email you will receive after placing your order.
In most instances delivery within New Zealand will be made by New Zealand Courier Post and they will require a signature for receipt of the parcel. International orders will be sent using Fed Ex in most cases, requiring a signature on receipt of the delivery. Any apparent damage upon delivery should be noted to the delivery driver.
Deliveries will be made ex Christchurch during any week days Monday to Friday.
If an item is out of stock we will contact you before any amount is deducted from your credit card, allowing you to make a different purchase. Should we discover an item is out of stock after your card has been debited, we will arrange to credit your credit card.
Curtis Jewellers has insurance cover for all items sent by courier from the time it leaves our care until the order is received and signed for. Any international order placed under the value of $800.00 will be sent by post at your own risk as this will not be covered by our insurance. Should you wish our insurance to cover your order in transit, the excess frieght charges shall be required to send the order via courier.
PRIVACY
Curtis Jewellers respects your privacy and will treat your information as confidential. We will not supply information to any other companies.
The only exceptions to the above will be when it is deemed necessary to supply the information to a third party who is acting as an agent for Curtis Jewellers and the information given is considered a requirement for them to carry out their service, i.e. Couriers, banks etc.
The only other time information will be supplied is if we are requested to provide the information for any government based agency.
Be assured that your details will be kept secure and no other party will harass you for business as a result of obtaining your details directly from us.
IMPORTING FROM NEW ZEALAND
Buyers are responsible for complying with any import regulations in their country, including payment of any applicable import duties, taxes or levies charged by their country or state.
